Orange & Orchard Berry Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 2 cups (500 mL) water
  • 1 cup (250 mL) orange juice
  • 1 1/3 cups (325 mL) Robin Hood® Quick Oats
  • 1/3 cup (75 mL) Smucker’s® Pure Orchard Berry Jam
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) plain yogurt (1% m.f.)
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Directions

  1. Bring water & juice to a boil in a saucepan; stir in oats. Return to a boil, reduce heat and simmer. Cook uncovered for 3 minutes stirring occasionally, remove from heat. Stir in jam. Let stand for 2 minutes covered.
  2. Divide oatmeal evenly into 4 bowls and serve with yogurt. If desired drizzle with jam and nuts.
