Better Than Plum Sauce Glaze

Better Than Plum Sauce Glaze

This easy glaze transforms plum sauce into a spectacular Asian marinade for chicken, beef, lamb or pork.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Makes: 1 cup (250 mL)

Ingredients:

1/2 cup (125 mL) Better Than Plum Sauce
1/4 cup (50 mL) hoisin sauce
1/4 cup (50 mL) oyster sauce
2 lb (1 kg) chicken, beef, lamb or pork

Directions:

1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
2. Slice poultry or meat into 1/4" (5 mm) thick slices and place in a bowl with marinade. Marinate for at least 3 hours or overnight.
3. Thread meat onto bamboo skewers that have been soaked in cold water. Grill 2-3 minutes per side. Serve with Better Than Plum Sauce for dipping.
