A flavourful stir-fry for beef, chicken or shrimp. Use any combination of fresh vegetables you have on hand.
1/2 cup (125 mL) Crazy For Glaze1/4 cup (50 mL) black bean sauce1/4 cup (50 mL) chicken stock1 lb (500 g) flank steak2 tbsp (30 mL) Crisco® Canola oil1 onion, thinly sliced2 carrots, thinly sliced
1. Combine Crazy For Glaze, black bean sauce and chicken stock.2. Slice flank steak as thinly as possible on the diagonal against the grain. Cut each slice into thirds. Marinate in 1/4 cup (50 mL) of sauce for about 10 minutes or up to 3 hours in refrigerator.3. Heat oil in a large, deep skillet or wok on medium-high heat. Add steak and cook for about 2 minutes, or until meat is cooked through. Remove steak from pan.4. Add onions and carrots. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until almost tender. Return steak to pan and stir to combine with vegetables until hot. Serve immediately with rice or pasta.
1. You can also use shrimp or chicken instead of steak.Use your imagination and add whatever vegetables you like.
