Choco-Berry Float

Choco-Berry Float

Enjoy an icy sweet blast from the past with a chocolate berry ice cream float. Freeze the glasses for 10 minutes beforehand.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Makes: 2 servings

Ingredients:

5 scoops vanilla ice cream
1 cup (250 mL) fresh or frozen sliced strawberries
1/2 cup (125 mL) milk
1/3 cup (75 mL) Smucker's® Sundae Syrup (Chocolate)
1 cup (250 mL) soda, cold
Fresh strawberries to garnish, optional

Directions:

1. Mix 1 scoop of ice cream, strawberries, milk and Smucker's® Sundae Syrup in blender for approximately 2 minutes, until smooth.
2. Pour 2 tbsp (30 mL) of strawberry-chocolate mixture into the bottom of 2 tall soda glasses.
3. Place one scoop of ice cream in each glass and cover with half of the remaining strawberry-chocolate mixture. Repeat with the second scoop of ice cream and the rest of the strawberry-chocolate mixture.
4. Top up with soda. Garnish with fresh berry if desired. Serve immediately.

Note:

1. For a low fat version use skim milk and lowfat ice cream or frozen yogurt.
