Mocha Chill

On a hot summer’s day, chill out with this icy coffee concoction. Chocolate, coffee and ice cream have never tasted so good.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Makes: 4 servings

Ingredients:

2 cups (500 mL) milk, divided
2 tbsp (30 mL) instant coffee granules
1/2 cup (125 mL) Smucker's® Topping (Chocolate)
2 cups (500 mL) vanilla ice cream
1 cup (250 mL) chilled club soda
Cocoa powder (optional)

Directions:

1. Microwave 1 cup (250mL) of milk in large microwaveable bowl on High for 30 seconds or until steaming.
2. Add the instant coffee, stirring until dissolved. Whisk in the Smucker’s® Topping until combined.
3. Whisk in scoops of the ice cream and the remaining milk until almost combined. Stir in the club soda.
4. Divide between four glasses and sift the cocoa powder (if using) over top. Serve immediately.

Note:

1. Substitute 2 cups coffee flavoured ice cream, instead of vanilla ice cream and instant coffee.
