Orange & Wildberry Oatmeal

Orange & Wildberry Oatmeal

Reinvent your oatmeal with a touch of wildberry and orange. They add a deliciously fresh note to this breakfast class.

Prep Time: 2 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes

Makes: 4 servings

Ingredients:

2 cups (500 mL) water
1 cup (250 mL) Oasis® Premium Orange Juice
1 1/3 cups (325 mL) Robin Hood® or Old Mill® Quick Oats
1/3 cup (75 mL) Smucker’s® Pure Wildberry Jam
3/4 cup (175 mL) plain yogurt (1% m.f.)
2 tbsp (30 mL) chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Directions:

1. Bring water & juice to a boil in a saucepan; stir in oats. Return to a boil, reduce heat and simmer. Cook uncovered for 3 minutes stirring occasionally, remove from heat. Stir in jam. Let stand for 2 minutes covered.
2. Divide oatmeal evenly into 4 bowls and serve with yogurt. If desired drizzle with jam and nuts.

Note:

1. Who doesn’t love warm oatmeal in the morning? Packed with fibre, whole grain oats are a tasty and nutritious way to start you day!
