Rainbow Sushi Rolls

Ingredients

  • 8 square store bought crepes (18 g each)
  • ½ cup (125 mL) Smucker’s® Sundae Syrup™ Chocolate, Caramel or Strawberry Flavoured Syrup, plus additional for garnishing
  • 2 ½ cups (625 mL) ice cream
  • 1 cup (250 mL) crisp rice cereal
  • ½ cup (125 mL) sliced strawberries
  • ½ cup (125 mL) sliced kiwi
  • 1 cup (250 mL) whipped cream
  • 1 (21 g) fruit strip roll, cut in 2” (5 cm) pieces
  • Sprinkles
  • Smucker’s Sundae Syrup Chocolate Flavoured Syrup for soy sauce

Directions

  1. Place crepe on flat surface.
  2. Spread bottom inch (2.5 cm) with 1 tbsp (15 mL) sundae syrup.
  3. Place 5 small scoops (1 tbsp/15 mL each) of ice cream in a row on syrup.
  4. Top with crisp rice cereal, sliced strawberries, kiwi, whipped cream and syrup.
  5. Roll tightly and seal roll with syrup.
  6. Wrap in plastic wrap and freeze, about 30 minutes.
  7. To serve, slice roll on the diagonal and top each slice with a drop of syrup.
  8. Place pieces of fruit strip roll on top of syrup and press down to stick.
  9. Garnish with sprinkles. Serve with chocolate flavoured syrup.
