Ice Cream Taco Sundaes

Ingredients

  • ½ cup (125 mL) chopped strawberries
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) Smucker’s® Sundae Syrup™ Strawberry Flavoured Syrup
  • 1 ½ cups (375 mL) chocolate ice cream
  • 8 store bought crepes, cut into 4.5”/11 cm rounds
  • 8 chocolate sandwich cookies, (13 g each) finely chopped
  • ½ cup (125 mL) whipped cream
  • ¼ cup (50 mL) Smucker’s Sundae Syrup Chocolate, Strawberry or Caramel Flavoured Syrup
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) shredded coconut, toasted

Directions

  1. Combine strawberries and strawberry flavoured syrup. Set aside.
  2. Place 3 mini scoops (about 1 tbsp/15 mL each) of ice cream down the centre of each crepe.
  3. Fold crepe around ice cream to resemble a taco shell.
  4. Top with cookie crumbs, syrup, whipped cream and strawberry mixture. Serve with additional syrups for dipping.

Tips

  1. Fill the crepes with ice cream ahead of time and freeze until ready to garnish.
