Crumble Topped Linzer Torte

  • ¾ cup (175mL) ground almonds
  • 1 ½ cups (375mL) Robin Hood® Original All Purpose Flour
  • ½ cup (125mL) butter
  • ½ cup (125mL) icing sugar
  • 1 tbsp (15mL) grated lemon rind
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup (250mL) Smucker’s® Regular or Seedless Pure Strawberry Jam
  • Icing sugar, optional


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Lightly grease a 9” springform pan.
  2. Combine first 6 ingredients in bowl of electric mixer. Mix until a crumbly dough forms. Set aside ¼ of dough crumbles and press remaining dough into the bottom and up the sides of prepared pan. Spread with jam and sprinkle with reserved crumbles. Bake in preheated oven 40-45 minutes until crust is golden brown. Remove and cool on wire rack. Sprinkle with icing sugar.
