Fudge Berry Trifle

Ingredients
- 2 cups (500 mL) fresh strawberries, stem removed (frozen may be substituted)
- 1 cup (250 mL) fresh raspberries (frozen may be substituted)
- 1 tbsp (15 mL) grated orange zest
- 1 prepared Angel Food Cake
- 1 cup (250 mL) Smucker's® Pure Strawberry Jam
- 1 cup (250 mL) Smucker's Microwaveable Hot Fudge Topping
- Whipped topping or ice cream as desired
Directions
- Slice the strawberries in half and toss in a bowl with raspberries and orange zest. Set aside.
- Slice angel food cake into 1” (2.5 cm) thick pieces. Place 1/3 of the angel food cake pieces along the bottom and sides of a trifle bowl. Spread the jam on cake. Add half the fruit mixture.
- Repeat with another 1/3 layer of angel food cake pieces, remaining jam and fruit. Cover with rest of cake.
- Heat topping in the microwave for 30-45 seconds. Drizzle over cake.
- To serve, scoop out a serving, garnish with fresh fruit and whipped topping or ice cream as desired.
