Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) Crazy For Glaze
- 1/4 cup (50 mL) black bean sauce
- 1/4 cup (50 mL) chicken stock
- 1 lb (500 g) flank steak
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) canola oil
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 2 carrots, thinly sliced
Directions
- Combine Crazy For Glaze, black bean sauce and chicken stock.
- Slice flank steak as thinly as possible on the diagonal against the grain. Cut each slice into thirds. Marinate in 1/4 cup (50 mL) of sauce for about 10 minutes or up to 3 hours in refrigerator.
- Heat oil in a large, deep skillet or wok on medium-high heat. Add steak and cook for about 2 minutes, or until meat is cooked through. Remove steak from pan.
- Add onions and carrots. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until almost tender. Return steak to pan and stir to combine with vegetables until hot. Serve immediately with rice or pasta.
Tips
- You can also use shrimp or chicken instead of steak. Use your imagination and add whatever vegetables you like.
