Choco-Berry Float

  • 5 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup (250 mL) fresh or frozen sliced strawberries
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) milk
  • 1/3 cup (75 mL) Smucker's® Sundae Syrup™ Chocolate Flavoured Syrup
  • 1 cup (250 mL) soda, cold
  • Fresh strawberries to garnish, optional


  1. Mix 1 scoop of ice cream, strawberries, milk and syrup in blender for approximately 2 minutes, until smooth.
  2. Pour 2 tbsp (30 mL) of strawberry-chocolate mixture into the bottom of 2 tall soda glasses.
  3. Place one scoop of ice cream in each glass and cover with half of the remaining strawberry-chocolate mixture. Repeat with the second scoop of ice cream and the rest of the strawberry-chocolate mixture.
  4. Top up with soda. Garnish with fresh berry if desired. Serve immediately.


  1. For a lower fat version use skim milk and low fat ice cream or frozen yogurt.
